Mr Chris Ogden, Consultant Urological Surgeon

Medical Qualifications

Mr Chris Ogden qualified in 1984 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of London before going on to graduate with a Master of Surgery in 1993. He has received Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and England, the Royal College of Surgeons, Urology, and the European Board of Urology.

Medical Experience

Mr Ogden has held a number of prestigious positions worldwide, including Chairman of the Japanese Urological Association and Urology Visiting Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has also been awarded numerous grants such as the British Urological Foundation Research Scholarship.

Mr Ogden was recruited by the Royal Marsden Hospital, London to set up a new robotic urological service using the latest Da Vinci System laparoscopic robotic device and this was the first team in the UK to be certified in Radical Robotic Prostatectomy using this new technology. He is currently Consultant Uro-Oncologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Consultant Urological Surgeon at London Urology Associates as well as Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Princess Grace Hospital, London where he is available for private patients.

Mr Ogden has specialised in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and offers a range of treatment options for prostate cancer such as High Intensity Focused Ultrasound.
