Medical Qualifications

Mr Mark Gittos qualified from the Auckland Medical School, New Zealand, in 1984 and was awarded the Carrick Robertson Prize in Surgery. He went on to undertake higher training in plastic surgery in Australia, New Zealand, France, Australia, New Zealand, France, the USA and the UK; and won the Davis and Geck Prize for Surgical Research. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Plastic).

Medical Experience and Training

Mr Gittos specialises in the development of post-mastectomy breast reconstruction using skin and nipple sparing techniques and has published a number of papers on this area. Since 2001 Mr Gittos has been treating patients at the London Breast Clinic at 108 Harley Street.
