Medical Qualifications
Agamemnon Epenetos qualified in 1973 from Glasgow University and subsequently specialised in Medical Oncology at St Barts Hospital, London where he currently holds an Honorary Consultant appointment in Medical Oncology. Prof Epenetos gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) from Glasgow and London.
Medical Experience
Prof Epenetos is currently practising at the Harley Street Oncology Clinic, London alongside St Barts. He is a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Imperial College London. He is a general Oncologist with a particular interest in cancers of the breast, prostate, ovary, lung, pancreas and gastrointestinal tract as well as glioma and lymphomas. In recognition of his achievements in cancer research he has been awarded visiting Professorships of Cancer Research at Imperial College London and the School of Pharmacy, London. He has published widely on novel cancer therapies and has received many international recognition awards.
