Medical Qualifications

Mr Alasdair Day Mace graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College, London in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. He gained the Diploma of Laryngology and Otology in 2002 and the Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (ORL-HNS) in 2007. 

Medical Experience

In addition to clinical roles, Mr Alasdair Mace is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College Medical School. He is a faculty member of the Royal College of Surgeons eSTEP learning programme and an Examiner for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. He has been awarded professional membership of The British Association of Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons (ENT-UK), The British Thyroid Association (BTA), The British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS) and The British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO). Currently Mr Alasdair Day Mace is available for private appointments at The Princess Grace Hospital.

His areas of specialist interest include the treatment of head and neck lumps, tonsil problems, salivary diseases, voice and swallowing disorders, nasal and sinus problems. He has a particular interest in laser surgery and thyroid surgery. He is able to provide expert management for all common ear, nose and throat problems.
