Medical Qualifications

Dr Andrzej Krol qualified with an MD from the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland in 1991 before going on to undertake speciality training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and Palliative Medicine. In 2000 Dr Krol graduated with a Diploma of European Academy of Anaesthesiology (Gottingen, Germany. Jerusalem , Israel) and later has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (UK).

Medical Experience and Training

Following his specialist training, Dr Krol undertook fixed term senior registrar training in the UK. In 2004 he was appointed as a Clinical Pain Fellow at St George's Hospital, London before being appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine. He is also a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia for St Anthony's Hospital, Surrey and a Consultant for the Pain Clinic in Slupsk, Poland.

Dr Krol performs around 300 interventional pain procedures a year and specialises in ultrasound guided procedures in regional anaesthesia and pain management alongside ultrasound for assessment of nerve injury in the diagnosis of chronic pain.
