Medical Qualifications
Mr Ian J Franklin qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1990. Following this he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (General Surgery).
Medical Experience
Mr Franklin is a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, the European Society for Vascular Surgery, the International Society for Vascular Surgery, the British Society of Endovascular Therapy and the European Venous Forum. He is Chairman of the Circulation Foundation, the UK Vascular Research Charity.
Mr Franklin is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He is available for private patients at Parside Hospital and The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London.
Mr Franklin specialises in keyhole and minimally invasive treatments of varicose veins, vascular and endovascular surgery, limb salvage surgery and carotid artery surgery.
