Medical Qualifications
Mr James Smellie gained a Bachelor of Arts in 1985, this was followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1988 and Doctor of Medicine degree in 1999, all from Cambridge University. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992.
Medical Experience
Mr Smellie is a Consultant Surgeon and the Directory of Surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and is a member of the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgery.
