Professor John Studd, Consultant Gynaecologist

Medical Qualifications
Professor John Studd qualified in 1962 whilst working and training in Birmingham. He was awarded a Doctor of Science (DSc) qualification for his extensive years of published work on oestrogen therapy in women.
Medical Experience
Prof Studd has been a Consultant Gynaecologist in a number of posts, both in the UK and around the world. In 1974, Prof Studd moved to London and became Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King's College Hospital. Since then he has been Consultant Gynaecologist at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London and currently runs the London PMS & Menopause Centre.
Prof Studd has been Professor of Gynaecology at Imperial College, President of the Section of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Society of Medicine, Chairman of the British Menopause Society and Founder as well as Vice-President of the National Osteoporosis Society and Council. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
