Mr Lee Dvorkin, Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon

Personal treatment philosophy:

"Every patient is an individual with unique healthcare needs and expectations. I aim to tailor my treatment for each patient and discuss all available options in detail. My clinics are spaced throughout the week for optimum access and no patient is ever rushed out of the office. My team are all excellent and patients are guided through their treatment at each step of the way."

Mr Dvorkin graduated from Leeds University and completed his basic surgical training in Wessex. In 2002, he undertook a period of research at The Royal London Hospital, a renowned centre for colorectal research. This research focused on pelvic floor disorders and has been presented to many learned societies both nationally and internationally, and has been published as original papers, abstracts, posters and e-media. Mr Dvorkin was awarded an MD by the University of London for this work.

He continues with surgical research and continues to publish original works. Mr Dvorkin's clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general & colorectal surgery with a special interest in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and proctology. He also has extensive experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

Mr Dvorkin sits on the faculty of various educational courses and is an examiner for trainee surgeons. He remains passionate about education and surgical training.

Lee sees patients privately at Holly House Hospital.

Lee is married with two daughters and enjoys outdoor pursuits and cycling.
