Medical qualifications

Dr Stuart Bloom qualified as a Doctor of Medicine in 1995 from the University of Oxford following training in Oxford and London. His further postgraduate training was undertaken in general medicine and Gastroenterology in Oxford and Liverpool. Dr Stuart Bloom was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1998.

Medical Experience and Training

He has a particular clinical interest in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases such as Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at the University College London Hospitals in 1996 and also acts as an Honorary Reader for the Division of Medicine, University College London.
