Treatment of adhesive capsulitis
Adhesive capsulitis, also known as frozen shoulder, is a condition where the shoulder joint becomes inflamed causing restriction of movement. Other symptoms of frozen shoulder include stiffness and pain in the shoulder. It is still not clear why adhesive capsulitis occurs although it is thought that older adults with diabetes have a higher risk of developing frozen shoulder.
