Treatment of bursitis of the shoulder
Bursitis of the shoulder is a swelling of small fluid filled sacs under the skin at the shoulder, known as bursa. The bursa assist movement and reduce friction between moving parts of the bones and tendons. Bursitis normally occurs as a result of repetitive movement causing the bursa to inflame; this can also develop in the hip, knee, ankle and elbow.
