Treatment of osteoporotic fractures
Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones lose their density making them more prone to breaks and fragility fractures. Osteoporosis is often not diagnosed until an osteoporotic fracture occurs after a minor fall; osteoporotic fractures in the vertebrae can also occur without a fall leading to a stooped posture, back pain and problems with breathing.
