Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy
Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is a form of surgery used to treat prostate cancer in which the whole prostate is removed through keyhole surgery. Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy involves making several small incisions in the abdomen and inserting a camera and surgical instruments. Recovery time for laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is usually quicker than other forms of the surgery however it takes longer to perform and is technically more demanding.
