Treatment of impetigo
Impetigo is a skin condition usually affecting children; it most commonly affects the face but can affect other areas. The initial symptoms of impetigo are small red spots on the skin which develop into large blisters that may burst. Impetigo is quite a common condition and is highly contagious, it can affect individuals of any age, however those with a lowered immune system or those who play contact sports are more susceptible to developing impetigo.
