Nasal polyps are benign soft fleshy swellings that grow inside the nose and vary in size and colour. The main symptoms are nasal blocks and difficulty breathing through the nose; this can also lead to a loss of sense of smell and taste, difference in the voice and problems with sleep apnoea.
