Treatment of fibroids
Fibroids are benign (non-cancerous) lumps found in the uterus. The tumours may grow singular or as a cluster. They vary in size and most of the time cause no harm and go unnoticed, however they can grow and become painful therefore needing treatment. Symptoms of fibroids can include frequent passing of urine, lower back pain, heavy bleeding or painful periods, haemorrhoids and pain during sex.
